It was a beautiful day in the Shire and two young Hobbits, Rorimac Tunnelly from Tookbank and Aldagrim Took from Waymeet were in the mood to stir up some mischief and have them selves a grand time. They had decided Farmer Maggots fields may be a good place to start so on they went down to his fields from Bucklebury. They took the Bucklebury ferry of course, it wouldn't take longer then an hour by Shire time to get there. Upon arriving they realized old Farmer Maggot was out in his fields with his dogs and freshly sharpened sickle, not a good time to disturb him. After deciding on Bilbo's garden finely kept by Samwise Gamgee, son of Hamfast Gamgee or The Gaffer some called him.
Since Bilbo was an old chap close to 100 years old by the Shire calendar they figured this would cause a good rouse and have them some fun. Upon arriving no one was in sight so they started with the prized Old Toby pipeweed he grew, they uprooted and threw it to and fro without care at the trouble they would get. Then onto the fresh ripened tomatoes and mushroom, they squashed the tomatoes and ground the mushrooms till it was thoroughly trashed. But oh no here comes Samwise to check on his work. He saw the rascals and chased them all over Bag End till finally Frodo had appeared and helped him corner them by the door.
Once caught they decided to let Bilbo decide what to do with these two young lads. Bilbo was in his study adding another chapter to his book, There And Back Again-A Hobbits Take. Deciding all young Hobbits like to have fun at the expensive of others he decided to just tell him the tale of when he was a lad and uprooted Hugo Baker from Tighfield's garden in Newbury, this was torture to the young Hobbits and after screaming and kicking to let them leave their punishment was over they swore to never meddle in someone else's garden and to also help Sam fix the trouble they caused him.
